i have a 2003 road king that is all still pretty much factory.. i have some kind of baseball bat looking slip ons but i want it to be much noiser does any one have any asdvice or maby know a brand and style that might work.. yes i am injected
Like FLHT said you will get a million response or so and sound to each person is very subjective. I like my Vance & Hines Big Shot true duals on my RK Classic. They are a bit loud but not overly loud in my opinion. My bike definately sounds like a Harley-Davisdon though now.
Depending on what your looking for, I purchased a set of cored stock mufflers from bigluckyparts on ebay. I have to admit I was skeptical but the price was right and I was looking for a better sound and more performance. They have been on my RK for almost a month and I like the stock look and they have a pretty good bark when I'm on the gas. I also added a SE A/C at the same time and have not modded my fuel map. I've only put about 40 miles on this setup so far but I dont have any ping or heat issues. I will be doing a dyno run to check my A/F ratio pretty soon before the heat of summer hits.
