Iphone Hard Mount - Center Dash
I had rigged an iphone 4 mount off my T-bags windshield bag but since I bought the new Iphone, I needed a new mount, and wanted something rigid.
This is what I came up with. Worked out pretty good. Just throwing it out there if someone was bored and looking for the same type of thing.
Bent a piece of sheet metal and bolted it to an X-grip ram phone mount.
I already had a lighter plug wired inside the fairing, so I added the new lightning phone plug and removed the old 30 pin charger as well.

nice idea! much cleaner than anything else ive seen. Is your power cable long enough to find into your windshield bags for when it rains? My last bike, i kept breaking those cables from getting wet all the time while being powered

Yeah I could probably pull out up to 2' of cord if needed so the phone can be put into the bags. It is coiled and zip tied into fairing. I might also get an otterbox or lifeproof case so the phone can stay out in the rain.
