Yep. I used a 2013 header pipe for the decat swap.
Checked and checked again. Can't seen anything with an incense stick or camplighter.
Kinda what I thought.

I put a decatted head pipe on my '13 FLHRC & VIEDS at the same time. They are set to .50. Had a couple of decal pops the first day but nothing since. No tuner and no dyno. Bike runs great and sounds good too.
According to Nightrider web site I can go with new mufflers and A/C and still wont need a tuner, not at least until I go into the cams etc. Will find out next year.

Just for ***** and giggles check the connector beneath the air cleaner and battery connections if you touched that.
Kinda sounds like the ECM is hiccupping or not getting signal at times from something or getting the wrong reading from something who knows.
Start with checking for codes?
