Hello dakotabobcat; my 2014 Limited leaked twice. The second time it happened the dealer replaced most of the cooling system parts, one by one. They think the issue was the water pump? All I know is that it's not leaking and runs great. Last week I took the bike out for a 170 mile ride, two-up without a issue.
I did notice that my coolant level is now below the factory fill mark on the coolant overflow tank. My dealer is going to top off but told me it was not a issue.
Mine has puked 3 times. After the second time, the dealer replaced the pressure cap. It puked again and nothing was really done other than they tested the pressure cap, took it off, put it back on and added some coolant. It hasn't puked again. I posted in the forum that I wished it would puke again so I could take it back to the dealer. I still feel some part is defective. Why would it puke 3 times and then just stop? Did it find it's "happy place"? Oh well, I have an extended warranty so I'll take it back if/when it pukes again.
hopefully that antifreeze in front of the back tire doesn't cause you to crash. harley needs a good fix for this BEFORE people start getting hurt. it's gonna happen.
