With the limited grabbing all the attention now, both good and bad, are the ultra classics selling? Is there a segment of buyers who have decided they don't want the liquid cooled engine?

They'd sell me one if we could agree on a fair price for my trade. I'd want it to have the chrome wheels, painted inner fairing and larger "infotainment system" though.
From: South Carolina-First to secede and hopefully the next.
I think the acceptance of the liquid cooled Limited has taken the moco by surprised. The local dealer has 4/5 Ultra's on the floor but the Limited's are sold before they ever see the showroom.
My local dealer is having a weekend shindig where they advertise in store poker run and test drives. I was there today and they don't have any bikes to test. All are pre ordered sales. Out the doooor. Salesman said not much movement on the price, as you would think.
I'm waiting for the January road glide. Even then I ll have to wait a year before I can get a good price. I'm gonna cam up my 2011 flhtk in the meantime.
If I had the money, and the desire to trade my Road King in, it would probably be on the limited. I have neither though, so it's pretty much a moot point.
I went with the 14 Ultra. I think the appeal for the Limited might be stronger in the southern states.
My sales rep told me the Street Glides are strongest followed by the Limited and then the Ultra for early fall sales. I think spring sales will be more telling.
