With the RZ when adjusting the air it changes the seating position a bit thus changing the pressure points on your butt making for a much happier butt. On long rides I change pressure about once an hour, there are two adjustments for the rider and one for the passenger on the newer seats. My butt will still get tired after 700 miles in the saddle but there is no more burn I get more sore after driving all day in my truck.
I have not tried the hammock seat.

In relation to stock, does the RZ set you further back?
I've tried the Mustang Wide Touring, the Sundowner Deep Bucket and the RZ. The Mustang pushed me up further onto the gas tank, the Sundowner was just a bit better than stock but, in the end the RZ was what keeps me in the saddle mile after mile. I am 6' 1" with an average 32" inseam and around 230 - 240 pounds. I have no issues with putting my feet flat on the ground and with a Kuryakyn TP relocator, the other half is happy too. She only needed about 1 1/2" more room.
I been using road zeps since 06 and would not own another HD without one.
I could always ride 6-700 mile a day with no problems, if I started to get a little burn I would add a little air but 99% I rode the seat without adding air.
With the RZ both bladders full raises you up, with just the rear inflated it pushes slightly forward and down, with just the front inflated feels like you move back slightly with the front of seat up. Hope that makes sense.
I am 5 ft 9 in, 30 inch inseam with no air I can almost sit flat footed when stopped, fully aired up a little better then tip toe.
Awesome seat
I have to assume the internal air compressor is electric? Is there just two wires that you have to connect to the battery? Does this make is more difficult to remove the seat?
