Funny, long time ago they used to "de-coke" Brit bike motors every so many thousand miles as part of routine maintenance.Apparently carbon build up was bad enough back in the day to impact performance or the Brits just had allot of time on their hands.Pre detergent gasolines maybe?

I'm going to stick to gynecology. I looked in the plug hole, not the tailpipe!

If you like the kroil another good product they make is called sili-kroil same stuff but with some some silicone added. Use that stuff on anything where rust prevention is a concern, it's a great all in one for guns, all I use on my shotguns now.

Mmo has been around a lot longer than I realized. Seems a guy on another forum posted a picture of a 'self injector' made by Mmo designed to 'drip' the magic fluid into the engine to continuously keep carbon deposits at bay. The picture looked to be from the 40's. I've been reading a lot on the net about the stuff, and it seems to be an industry standard for carbon removal. I've run one tank of gas with Mmo through the bike, and I'm working on my second. 2 ounces per tank. It certainly isn't going to hurt, and many people swear by the stuff. I'm going to do a long ride today, and hopefully will get a chance to peek in the cylinders tonight again with the bore scope and see an improvement.

OK, final update. After running 2 tanks off mmo enhanced fuel through the engine, I took a final look in the cylinders with a bore scope. I can see the silvery tops of the pistons once again. It's not all gone, but over 75% of it is. I'm going to continue with a few more back to back tankfulls of mmo gas and then reevaluate. I do believe that the mmo actually works.
