Default A different Brake Pad question...

After searching the threads I was suprised to see all the people fawning over the Lyndall racing brakes. What was disturbing is that they all said the same thing: Stops like factory, wears like factory, dusts like factory,. Hell, what a great review!! Why not buy HD pads then???

I went with EBC HH sintered (on a recommendation from a friend) and they stop a HELL of a lot faster than factory. I have lesss than 100 miles on them and they are WAY outperforming the original pads.

With less than 100 miles I cant say about longevity or dust yet. BUT stopping power is what brake pads are for. Maybe ya'll who love those Lyndalls should try the EBC. Also EBC for a Harley touring are made in USA!!

Ah, missed that part. If they stop faster I wonder if they'll wear faster.

I encountered a lot of brake dust using the EBC HH. You may also find that as the EBC pads heat up the stopping power will become diminished.

I'm back to zplus pads. Almost no brake dust and plenty of stopping power under ALL conditions. Some have mentioned problems with the zplus in wet conditions. I haven't experienced any issues.

I have been useing EBC double H Sintered for about 5 years the stop better and last just as long as the Harley pads and are about 15 smacks less per set that adds up when you buy three sets
