LA Choppers are a cnc milled one piece block and don't see them breaking,They are HD (heavy duty) But they are higher in price, I got mine for half the price from a member here :}

Had a set on my RK f from Road6 customs until I had my seat modified and lowered. I took them off afterwards and couldnt believe how smoother my suspension became, like I upgraded my shocks. They will lower your ride but it will stiffen the shocks a lot. Its a trade off.

I put some blocks on my 10SG after i bought it. I'm 5'9" but it felt tall as hell. It was ok until i burned the air lines for the shocks. Trimmed the front of the seat, fixed the line and then took them off. no issues just didn't want them anymore. Same as what TUCCI said.

Lowering blocks are not 'quality' IMHO! For a lower ride do the job properly and use shorter shocks.

I had the shocks on my 09 SG lowered to 11.5" which was great for me but way too tough for the wife, hence my thinking about lowering blocks.

Do you really 'need' to lower your bike? There's a good reason why they come the way they are!

Yes, I need to lower my bike for stability ( short legs issue) and yes, I already have a narrower seat.

You kill me grbrown. Your worse than a broken record. I love your posts because your intelligent, well read and always give outstanding advice. But its like no matter what some one says, posts or opines about suspension, every one of your responses is the same. No, no, no, you HAVE TO search out the most expensive shocks. No other option is worthy of a Harley, and anything other than shocks is a mistake. Come on already, spending a fortune on high end shocks IS NOT the only option, it AN option.
