Default RK windshields

Finally took a trip on the RK and can see now that the original shield has got to go.It's fine for around here/50 or so miles, but after getting to the other end of 250+ miles,my head and eyes feel like they've been the ball in a ping pong game.Need something I guess with a flair at the top-any input appreciated..BTW,I'm 6',run a Corbin 2 up seat, and the original shocks.

My FLHS was similar to an RK and I had the same experience, as well as problems in cross winds on occasions. I installed a batwing, also trimmed a windshield and all is fine now.

Look at a windshield that has a curve like a LRS (http://www.longrideshields.com/product_p/sku17624.htm)

Fork wind deflectors solved the problem for me on my 2013 RK with stock shield. I put on the Harley ones but there are others.

I'm 6'1'' and have a Corbin classic solo seat. I went with the LRS 18" I felt like with the stock 20" I was having to stretch my neck to see over it at times. I guess I ride slouched lol. With the LRS 18" I can def see over it much easier. Buffeting isnt too bad. My eyeballs do shake at time like what you describe, but goes away if I wear sunglasses or, when I am wearing my prescription glasses, I drop the visor down on my 1/2 helmet. Price is right on them too. Mounted perfectly to the OEM hardware.

Klock Werks Billboard flare is what I found to work best for me. Its wider than stock and had the flared lip on top.

Try the Harley fork wind deflectors. They work wonders.

More food for thought-today I went down hiway and took note where wind is coming around windshield. Not bad at top of head-it's mostly from around the sides that it goes around but quickly comes back in towards my ears and shoulders.
