I called Eastern Performance today to order some items from Tim. I was told he is no longer employed there. Further fishing for info, I was told that he was giving too deep of a discount to people.

I for one will miss him for being a stand up guy who took care of forum members. The guy today saved me a whole $7.00 on two items with a list of $133.00. Big Deal!!!!

Guess we need to shop around in the furture......

So your discount was over 6.5% off retail. For some items we cannot offer steep discounts and free shipping. It isn't only the discounting....Tim was real responsive, positive, friendly and just plain good people! I like doing business with him!

 

I've ordered about $800 worth of parts from them in the last 3mos. Didn't know they gave forum members discounts.

 

I was in their showroom last weekend. They were sorta busy, so I didn't get to talk to anyone, but the people buying stuff seemed to be please.

 

Just ordered my saddlebags from them and no discount but fast shipping and answers.

 

I'll bet the quote they will expect you to honor is ;
"Tim doesn't work here anymore".

 

If Tim quoted a price we will not have an issue discussing that with you. Please send them over to me. I know that he was very responsive and took great care of the forum members I will work with Matt and the other employees to continue that service.
