Ya, I purchased 2 kits. 2 pads and a replacement pin per kit. $53.00 per kit plus tax. I just had to ask as it sounded high to me as well. Like I said, I could have gotten some more mileage out of the old ones but opted to replace. I don't know how you guys are getting 28,000 miles on yours.

I do my best to avoid big cities and traffic(lol) thats how I get decent mileage out of pads. Seriously I had my 2001 Softail and put almost 50K on the bike and if I recall correctly only put one set of pads on that bike and the baggers are a lot more weight. I am pretty sure I will have to replace my front ones in the next year of so but when I reinstalled my front wheel the pads looks really good and they are original.

'10 RK ABS started to kick in when coming to a harder than normal stop. Local indy told me to check rear brakes. They were worn and I replaced them with Lyndall , no more ABS being applied. I don't know why but the results are what really matter.
