Casper and Yzernie have it right
I busted my *** for almost 40 years to get where I am today. I couldn't afford my toys until the last couple of years where work and sacrifice paid off.
I could have had some decent toys when I was younger, but I wouldn't have what I have today; 2 great kids with a good work ethic, they realize that the best things in life are earned - not given to them. I have a beautiful wife that doesn't mind me buying my toys - we are finally financially secure enough that we didn't have to go in debt to own them.
I guess what I am trying to say is that life would be good even without my toys. I truly am blessed. The important things in life are not material things. Those are just a bonus!
