Looking at my current set of vehicles, I have realized that the days of my youth are gone. When I was younger, I didn't care about comfort or luxury, just speed and looks.
When my Street Glide got totaled last month my first thought was to replace it with another one. Then I started thinking about little things like extra storage, better sound system, smoother ride, anti locks, etc. So I ended up buying the Ultra Classic Limited. Goes along with my old mans car.

Ahh! The wisdom of age. Looks to me like you have the best of both worlds there. What is that? A 400HP CTS? Nothing wrong with rolling in comfort, and for sure you owe no one any apologies for it! Old man bike and car? I think not!
OLD is a state of mind. I am 72 (73 in 2 months) and here are my toys. Just traded my Cadillac CTS Performance model for the 375 hp Challenger, 6 Speed Standard.

Its a slightly modded CTS-V putting out 600 HP at the crank. Just because I'm old, doesn't mean I slowed down!
my wife got a birthday card from her sister the other day--"you are not getting older...you were old last year"! what i don't understand is why the years keep getting shorter and my bucket list longer.

Man you are old, I haven't heard a transmission referred to as a "standard" in a long time. lol
I ride with a motorcycle club comprised mostly of Ultras and Street Glides. Yesterday we had a kid on an old Sport join us for a 200 mile ride (with stops). At each stop some of us would get off and kind of moan and groan and work out the stiffness. The kid would just hop off the Sport with a grin on his face you couldn't wipe off and ask how long we were stopping for. I could see him getting a little antsy waiting for us to get back on the road.
