Replacement Radio for 2000 Electra Glide Classic
New to the scene. My radio died, and I'm looking to replace, or, upgrade. Does anyone have suggestions for a replacement? I know I can do the trade-in with Harley, but I'm looking for a better deal. Thanks. Semper Fi Rob

Check the buy-sell section here on the forum. They come on the market occasionally and typically go for about $250. Most will start much higher but then reality settlers in.
Epay has also been spoken of as a spot guys buy-sell them. Otherwise Sony makes a good marine grade unit which accepts a jump drive or mp3 player loaded with your favorite tunes. These can be had for about $250 at Best Buy. I went that route on my 07 Standard when I had it. And there are after market control kits to adapt the handle bar controls to any ones head unit.
You have lots of options.

biketronics and hawgwired both make kits that will allow use of handlebar controls,with a handful of car head units.sony tune tray is one,the kits also make install easy and one has a plastic door to cover the unit in rain.
