engine died

Got my new rineharts today and put them on my 09 flhx. The previous owner had stripped out the factory exhaust so it was running straight pipes for who know how long. anyways started the bike up after install of new pipes and it starts idling up and down sporadically and then died started it back up and idled fine since. is there anything to worry about or was the ecm just adjusting since it finally has some back pressure?

Did he have it tuned after straight pipes? If the ecm was tuned for his setup you may want to retune. If not I would just ride it if no more problems.

I doubt it after riding into work this am there is way more power. I topped it out a few weeks ago and it wouldnt go any faster than 100 mph and I hit 105 thia morning on accident
