I am debating on replacing the stock wind shield on my "13 SG. I like the looks of this one. I am thinking it is the Klock Werks 6 1/2" Black Flare Windshield, am i right?
If i am right do yuo have one and do you like it? I am wondering if it will help with my helmet buufeting?
KW is not made to deflect wind. It is made to provide downward force and promote clean air flow. LRS Ultra is loved by many on this Forum including myself.
I have a fastaire aeroshield recurve (little flip at the top). I believe it is a 7.5" and its perfect. I can't recall if it was fastaire's suggestion or someone elses but here is how to chose the height.
Sit as you sit when you ride. Meaning if you slump when you ride slump for this. have the bike upright, not on jiffy stand. place a can or whatever 50' in front of your bike. have a helper with a piece of cardboard slide the cardboard up from the batwing until it starts to cover the can at 50'. Mark and measure the cardboard and thats the shield height you want.
It worked perfectly for me and eliminated buffeting.

Sorry if i sound like an idiot, what do you mean by "clean Air Flow" when talking about the windshield. Copared to the stock??
