Default Which comes first?

I now ride a 07 Road King Classic (2nd owner, 16K for miles; 10K by me) My bike has a Grey, silver flake factory paint job. I was going to get a custom paint job everybody sid it looks too good as it is to mess with.

So, I've been on websites, looking at all the stuff; molded fenders, hard bags, and the list goes on! while out riding today, and stopping for a bit of lunch and looking out at my bike; I decided I like the factory look. Why spend all of that money to change something I like?

I am going to change a few things like FM 107 Big Bore kit, and maybe some head work, or whatever FM recommends as the best route to go in addition to the kit ( I've got 2K for the kit and install by FM, and 1500 more to put into the motor). hard bags, front wheel (22 or 23 talk about sticker shop on the price of custom rims), and chrome lower forks. I'm absolutly not mechanically inclined, so an INDY does most of; ok all of my work!

So, if I'm truly going to switch to the new front rim size, should I do that first, or the lower chrome forks first, or maybe at the same time? The price of rim, tire, matching brake deal, and chrome lower forks might be a lot to bite off at once.

So you like the factory look but are changing to non factory stuff? I am confused by your post Banjo. Save your dough for rear tires if you pump that mill.

Default a little bling

Yes, I'm confused a lot. I want to keep it mostly original. I just want to a a little extra chrome etc, but decided against the various molded rear fenders, shaved tanks, Stereos (as deaf as I am I'm better off with a Ipod & ear buds anyway) etc.

The big bore kit is a must. After riding my buddies 107, I just got to have it!
