Might be possible under 300 miles of very favorable conditions, but highly unlikely. Just wondering why would you try it. Bring extra gas or do an accurate mileage check X 6.2
Captsluggo
my average is between 36-40 depending on how fast and hard i ride. On a trip up to tenn i set cruise control at 75mph and was getting 39 - which is my best. That puts my tanks around 220 miles. I did 3 non stop 200 mile tanks in a row, i dont think i could have sat on the bike for that extra 100 miles like you are asking
39-41.5 average with a fuel pack, decatted muffler and opening up the stock air cleaner. I pushed it to 226 miles today and was showing signs of no gas when I pulled up to the pump...wheew.
I really doubt it. On the I5 to and from California with a stock 96 ci FLHTC and cruise from gas station to gas station I can do 325 kilometres (about 230 mi off hand) before I need a fill up.
You're chancing it brother.
i have a 2010 Ultra classic 103 with SE AK 255 cams download and rhinehart exhaust. is it possible to get 300 miles out of the 6.2 gallon tank???
Thanks and god Bless for your input
Batwing Harleys can get 50mpg+ if running premium "pure gas' ride between 60-65mph on flat ground with no headwind etc. If you are running a tuner/XIED"s, A/F etc it wont happen.
i was told its possible with a gear change (sprocket) i do a ton of long distance riding for charity/Ministries. I can stay in the saddle all day, don't want an external tank.
I guess it would be possible. Idk. I'm usually loaded & 2 up.
Got 08 UC V&H true duels. Monster Rounds HO. SE tuner. SE big air cleaner. Get about 35 mph.
