Having never been able to change the oil filter without getting oil on the front mount, I like the oil resistant/proof GlidePro mount. I can detect no change in vibration compared to the factory mount.
My first Stabo "broke" too. It cracked in a circle about 1/2 inch from the center stud and when the crack splt the rubber all the way around and all the way from top to bottom, the "outer ring" of rubber fell through its plate. The motor plate attached to the "inner ring of rubber" consequently followed it, essentially landing itself on the cross member below. A herniated motor mount! It was about 1 year old with around 20,000 miles on it.
I called and ordered another one though because I like the way it rides. And no issues since.
WOW! that's drastic. Did they honor a replacement? I don't think that is a common failure.
This just happened recently and this thread reminded me to take a picture. I went to their website and sent them a message after I posted here. I will install it if they give me a new one, but have a hard time paying for another one after this experience. It did make the engine smoother.

Wow! That is Customer Service. I sent them a message that it had failed at 4500 miles and didn't even ask for a replacement or refund. I got the following email from Jake-
"They actually don't really wear out. However we occasionally have a manufacturing defect.
