10/16/13 Update
My Stabo just failed for the second time * first one lasted 1 year and about 20,000 miles,) on the way home from work this afternoon. I just now finished re-installing a stock one I had laying around before it got too dark. Checked my records and I bought this one April 2013 at around 126,000 miles. As of today the bike has 137,000 miles so it lasted all of 11,000 miles.
I'm not going to ask Kevin for another unit as I'm not planning on going for Round 3. I ride 20,000 miles per year so I guess I need the stouter, stock style material-wise.
(Sure was smooth while it lasted though...)
