I have the T 26 in my 2001 FLHTC. I installed it when changing out cam chain tensioners. I was kinda of disappointed because I didn't notice much change. Then I changed out my stock carb with the Mikuni 42 Flat side and boy, did that wake that cam up!.. Now I have installed a 95" big bore kit and now she rocks! I have not had it Dynoed yet, but I can easily walk away from a stock 103. The range of power is just where you need it...you can't go wrong with the 26. It does idle rougher and with the Mikuni carb you can hear the slide chatter at idle, but I think it sounds great.

I would take your 88" to 95" and go with the 26; unless the shop with whom I was dealing recommended something different with which they are most comfortable.... IMHO.
I'm going down tomorrow and ordering my TW26 cams. The guy at the indy shop said that if I end up doing the 95 kit as well that he recommends using Zippers with a 9:1, or 9:5 (can't remember which) compression but not the 10:5. Zippers is about $600 but that is sending them your jugs in and they send you another set out. (re-bores i'm sure) i'm not sure if doing that is a good idea. worries me about making the walls thinner. any thoughts on that.
I also understand that they are a Zippers distributer so he is possibly just pushing them because that is what he wants to sell and maybe not because it is the best way to go.
I decided to go with the 26 because it sounds like it works well with the 88ci and will also work with the 95 kit should I go that way also
Those of you running the 21's, how do you find the idle to be, and starting? I've read various things about the 21's being a rougher idle and harder to start than stock.
Idle is great, starts @ the touch of the button!\, no spinning just VVRROOM! 21;s are a great cam for 88", good for 95"s. OP was thinking of 95" down the road, think that 26's would be better for that.
Really not much difference between 21's and 26's, always need more cam for more CI!
21's running in the 02 FLHPI still @ 88", 09FLHTP w/103 is running SE255's, both are running PCV' w/AutoTune and Jamies maps. 02 needed lots of trims, 09 is really close with the FM map.
All 95" cylinders are the same as 88" cylinders. They were designed to handle either bore.
And bored out 88" to 95" cylinders are preferred because the re-used cylinders are considered "seasoned." (3.75" to 3.87" btw )
I used the 21's in an 2009 Electra glide classic 96" with int, slipons and tuner and it ran fantastic, no starting issues and had great power to 5,000.
