12 Hours :)
Left yesterday morning at 0830, and rolled back into town around 2030 or 2100. Left with no particular destination, and ended up finding a lot.
- Found out Dallas is not a nice place to drive, so I got out of there.
- Dealerships in the area are quite nice, and like to have demo parties in the parking lot.... drove a nighster to check out for my little bro; then test rode a RK w/ 18" apes (that was fun)
- North Texas is actually quite nice@ 70mph in early March
- If the sun is out, andI do not wear sunscreen for 12 hours, I will look like a raccoon when I arrive back home.
- Even if I bring my camera, I never stop to take pictures...
- I love having a bike that will go for 12 hours and still allow me to feel my *** when I get home.
Happy riding y'all!

One of my favorite "day rides" was on the 4th of July, '91. Wanted to get a beer so I road southeast out of Binghamton, NY to Connecticut, through Rhode Island, up through Massachusetts and New Hampshier to Maine and got a beer. Then road back to Binghamton -808 miles. Only problem I had was that I got a few"to go" and one of the cans was resting on the steel railin the bottom of my saddle bag. When I got home, I found that the vibration of the bike had worn a hole in the beer can, and my saddle bag was foaming
