Default Any wild1 pics?

I'm looking for pics of wild 1 wo575 and wild 1 578. There website is alittle confusing I'm not sure which one they are concidering a 10" bar? From what I gather they say the 575 has a 10" rise but the 578 says it sits 2.5" higher than stock which is what I'm looking for. Pics would be great. Do cables and extensions need to be changed or extended for 578?

I found some better pics so I don't need them however they are still welcome. Any info on cables or extensions for the 578s would be great though. I got info earlier on the 575s for cables but I was confused on which ones it was that I actually wanted. It through me off that wilds website says the 575s have a 10" rise

I had a dealer install 578's. I read on here that only a longer clutch cable is needed. I also contacted Wild Ones and they stated I just needed a longer clutch cable. I told this to the dealer. They called me when they were reassembling and said the brake line was to short and I needed a new one. I don't know who's correct the dealer or the manufacturer but I don't think the dealer would lie for just an extra $80.

In the end I am glad they did both the brake and the clutch lines because they switched them to stainless steel and it looks great. Really cleans things up.

If you want to re-route your cables, you can; however, when I had my apes installed, I told my indy to run all the cables in the stock configuration. My takeaway: If you're spending the money to get the job done, then get it done right - the first time!

Another tip: Don't guess when you're buying ape handlebars. Try to find somebody that already has them installed, or go to a dealer and sit on a used bike that has them installed (what I did). This will give you a good perspective on sizing. Also, check the grip angle on the bars and choose a bar that gives you a comfortable, neutral grip angle.

For optimal ergonomics, choose a bar which puts your wrists above you elbows, and your elbows below your shoulders.

Another tip: Wild1 bars are wider than stock handlebars (stock bagger bars are 31" wide, while the WO578's are 36.5" wide)!

Another tip: Post an avatar of your bike and create a signature that provides details of your current configuration. It eliminates a lot of confusion for folks who are trying to help you.

If you are going to put WO or any other bar an a pre 08 bike I highly recommend looking at their accessories page and finding HD part # 55918-08. I just took off a pair of 508's and they were cracked in the center. This solid one piece clamp should be on all touring bikes IMO. The life you save may be your own. Your welcome....

I have WO 577 (12 inch bars) and changed my cables and extended the wires.
