Hey there. Just bought a used 2012 Streetglide with only 2000 miles on it and wanted to ask whether the grills that come with the Polk MM651's will work inside the batwing? If not can someone tell me why? I don't have the speakers yet nor the bike for that matter, but I already ordered them and was hoping to use the grills that come with them.
I searched but came up with nothing so thanks in advance.
will not work.... too big.
I grabbed one of the mesh paper bins (black) I got around the house and used the original speaker grills to cut/build custom grills. Sprayed them with "chrome" paint and looks great (IMO).
the grills now allow to "see" the speakers...
Thats is what I planned on doing as well.
Now I need the adapters and the shipping to Canada is insane! The freaking adapters with shipping will cost me half of what I paid for the speakers!!
