might try some different tools as well to complement the "drill method". thinking about welding a larger grinding ball to a rod to get to the areas I cannot get with the spade wood drill... also got some older wood rasp bits laying around.
Will post results (in another thread - were the debate/debacle is/was going on regarding drilling or cut/weld method).
you got the hard part done,getting the pipe off the bike. $10 for a drill bit and get it over with.

About this big, don't do it half assed clean it out real good till there's nothing left of the honey comb.....the header in the pic is for sale.
