Thanks for the replies to my last post. i spent a 10 minute ride on a 06 Road Glide this weekend, the 97 wing is down the road with a happy new owner and the 06 now graces my driveway. All the hesitation and doubt were answered in that 10 minute ride, i think a got 10 years younger, i had forgotten what the wind felt like. The last 20 years i have been on wings and its been a good time, but the Glide brought old blood back into the veins. ill have pics soon and question im shure. im as jazzed as mr happy on prom night " ok that really was 25 years ago "anyway i just wanted to tell everyone thanks alot, and i hope to meet some of you folks for a cold one or hot cup of joe and to feel the wind. Ride safe all.
Yup! That is just about the way it happened to me. 13 years and 89,000 miles on a Wing and switched to the Street Glide. I have not regretted it. I have had more enjoyment on the SG in the last year than I ever did on the Wing.
