I put money down on the green/black 2006 Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic EG. I'm not too fond of the leather covered tour pak. Thats the only thing I really dont like about this bike.
Has anyone heard of any negatives about this bike? I'd sure appreciate any comments before dropping 32k.
One choice is to swap it out for the painted one and paint to match the bike. Looks like it is going to be a nice package. I have the 03 cvo and they do a nice job on them.
Other than the fact that they are pricy, there are no negatives to the SE. I would love to have one, just can't justify the $$$$.
As far as the leather tour pac goes, my guess is that you could trade for a hard one in a heartbeat.
There is really nothing wrong with the leather one. My wife has on on her Heritage, and it works well. We have ridden all day every day for three and four days in the rain, and it has not weathered of lost its shape. It's a little more work to keep treated, but that's about all.
