3M also makes a removable clear spray for occasional long distance rides. Can peal off when you return.

Some have also recommended a light spray with WD-40 to make the buggs easy to wipe off.

I just use a good coat of wax. Cleans off pretty easily.

Best trick I've used: dryer sheets. Got to your local Wally World or grocery and get a small box of unscented dryer sheets and keep them in the garage and a few in the saddle bag. Method: 1 dryer sheet + a little water. Wet the dryer sheet throughly and then squeeze out excess water. Caked on bugs wipe right off. Works great on the lenses of your headlight & passing lights also. Once done, just hit the area with your spray detailer of choice and a micro fiber towel. Thank me later.

This, been doing it for a couple years. Cheap and doesn't hurt the paint. Mix half and half in a spray bottle. Spray it on let it set about 5 min. then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

You can always edit a post to correct errors or add information. Look at the post after you have made it there will be a extra button on the lower right that says edit.

Not sure how it happened but the reason your link didn't work is that it has a double http

To the OP another option is Bugslide.

Yes bugslide works well as a preventative.

Good stuff, takes bugs off, but once you use it a couple of times the bike shines and the bugs don't stick near as bad...I have a small bottle in the saddlebag and can touch up at gas stops if needed. Works on windshield, paint, chrome...

Have y'all seen the new 3M spray on protector...pretty cool. i would consider using this on my bike... you can peel it off and re-apply...I actually use a paint protector on my inner pairing top so my 3 pouch pack won't scratch it...That paint is too purdy...

I like to throw a hot towel over the fairing and windshield to loosen up all the $hit that collected on there the day before...

+1 on the use of HP. Works great and is cheap. I carry a 12oz spraybottle in My tourpac and remove the bugs when stopping for gas.

Peroxide is making a full blast come out in the Medical industry...I sell it to our nursing homes, Clorox jumped into the game this year since it worked so good...Regular Peroxide works good but Stabilized Peroxide is even better...I tried the regular peroxide and compared it to Envirox brand Advanced AHP and WOW....It cleans tile N grout like crazy also./..
