I have a 2010 Street Glide and would like to change the fairing mounted mirrors to ones which have plain mirror glass instead of the wide angle glass in them now. I have looked all over the web and done a search with no luck. I wish Harley would have put a plain mirror on the left, and a wide angle on the right. Anyone have any ideas where I can find them?
Thanks for the information Snake, but aren't those like the ones that come stock on the bike ? They make everything look farther away than it is. I want something that is like a regular mirror that gives a true image.

Unfortunately, what you want and what DOT says you can have are two different things...
It's a CYA thing at this point. That's why you don't see an exterior mirror installed on a vehicle that doesn't say "objects are closer than they appear" everyone has been forced to these mirrors.
Thanks Guitardude I guess I may be stuck with what I have. My car has a normal view mirror on the drivers side and a wide angle on the passenger side. Just hate looking in the mirror and not knowing for sure how close a vehicle is to me. I may take the mirrors off and see if I can get a glass shop to change the glass for me.
