Yes I would smell the exhaust under the right conditions wind blowing a certain way I ran mine for a year and a half before getting lowers

OK. Nice looking bike by the way Shakrr.
Do you leave the hard lowers on all year then? Might just need to get them. Like the way the lowers block the wind. Just not the exhaust smell. CO poisoning on a bike?

There is a possibility of your front header gasket leaking...

Had that on my '11 Roadie.

If that was the case wouldn't I get decel popping?

You could get some decel popping, mine did, but only on a long down the mountain run... I lived in the Heart of Appalachia back then, and the road was 4 miles from the top of the mountain down to the bottom.

I'm not saying that is what it is, merely offering up a possibility.

Do you own a torque wrench?

It wouldn't hurt to double check the torque on the header bolts. Just set the wrench for what the spec is, and if it tests good, they're good.

One of mine had loosened.
