I was tired of laying on the floor also I recessed that lift from Clark in the floor and its awesome

Yes you can drop the rear wheel through the removable plate on the HF lift. The lift needs to be raised to the highest level with bike supported by a scissor lift under the frame. I have done this numerous times with my Ultra Classic on the HF lift. With the saddle bag guards in place there is no way you can drop the rear wheel and angle it up through. The rear wheel will fit through the hole and drop out under the table,an extra pair of hands would help greatly. If you do decide to go with the HF lift,make sure to pick up the better wheel chock while your there.

..my bad..forgot about people with bag-guards..I removed mine long ago..so for me...it's WAY easier to slide the wheel out the side at an angle..to get the wheel out the other way, by dropping it straight down, that lift, and bike has to be way-way-up in the air...no thanks
