then I would never wash mine it would be dirty all the time

Some would say you clearly do not understand That HD does not have a clue what to run in a Harley.
And of course we need to set the stage for a list of aftermarket octane boosters to make you HD run right. A never ending game.
Simple higher compression needs higher octane needs your 2014 in no different than the rest 91-93 no more no less no fancy additives needed.

I must have missed that in your original post! Didn't know new bikes came without owners manuals.

I have always run 87 octane in my bikes- no pinging, no issues-
