What are you guys doing for antennas? I have the detach kit (I have never removed it) and have two lower mount points for antennas. Don't see any on the bikes shown in this thread.
I don't have the QD Kit,but I have the antenna mount bracket from the kit.It mounts the am/fm antenna to the left bag support.
Love the look without the tour pack but I carry every thing for any type of weather + other things. All 3 bags are packed and the tour pack is the first thing I go into when getting ready to ride and the last when I'm done. Don't know how anyone can ride without even simple saddle bags?
I picked up the QD Im going to put on this winter since Im changing my rear fender. Any one switch their light bar to the Bullet Bar from a SG as part of the Pak removal. Im looking at swapping to the Bullet Bar and the plate mount that goes below. Hoping some one has a pic of a set up like this
Whatever floats your boat, I guess. To me, an Ultra without a tourpak kinda just looks like an Ultra without a tourpak, but hey, it's not my bike! Glad you like it.
Awesome thread guys, I just emailed this thread over to a buddy of mine who has been thinking of doing this to his Ultra. This will deff give him some ideas. I love how everyone really comes together on this site.

Hey....it's all about the backside...view from the rear! Know what I mean...?
If you get the narrow street glide turn signal bar you can mount a tag holder to it and it will lay under the bar vs over - much cleaner look. Not the best picture, but you get the idea

Thats the setup Im looking at doing, was just kind of a toss up between the Kuryakyn Bullets or the OEM SG lights
The tourpack is the best feature on my bike, no way would I take it off. Alot of people out there think an ultra is to big for around town little rides, I say BS to that, I ride my bike everywhere, I dont care if its only a couple of miles to the store, lmao...
