Default FXDC to FLHR !

Just traded in my 2011 FXDC for a 2014 FLHR . Tried everything I could to make that dyna comfortable for 2 up ,foot boards ,mustang seat ,shocks ...just tons of stuff but it just was not good for the wife. Drove home with the new road king loaded the saddle bags and the wife and went out for a few hours. I was surprised at how easy it was to get used to handling the new bike. Handles as well as the dyna but is much more stable and smoother on the road. Love this bike !

I did the same thing and love the King. The wife rides the dyna for now. We are headed to the dealer today for demo days. Strange things happen when you stop at the dealer. Enjoy your new ride.

Yep, the King handles somewhat like a Dyna, but offers more stability and storage. It's a fan-fricken-tastic bike!!!!

Enjoy yours. I know I enjoy mine!

"Handles as well as a Dyna". I respectfully disagree. Different, and good yes, but as well? I think not.

Howitzer, to me it handles much better..better in slow speed maneuvering , better at 80 Mph on the hwy..doesn't get bounced around running over road seams, much less steering correction needed while traveling on the hwy. it really doesn't feel that much different than my dyna in the curves , at least for the way I ride. I put over 10k miles on the dyna so it's not like I didn't ride it much, but that's my opinion...ride safe!

RK for two up and FXDC for when I need to be alone, best of both worlds!

IMKMA, I just traded off my 2013 FLD last weekend for my 14' King, Your comments on the better handling mirror my feelings as well. Many miles of fun ahead, ride safe.
