I really like the fm headpipe and I plan to get a aftermarket header here soon. Right now im just running a decatted header with slip ons. I would really like to have the fm header with ceramic but what I don't get is why do I have to use my stock shields? I know fm makes great products and there support is also great I just don't understand why they are not making shields that show off there crossover. I know it cant all be about bling bling but I hate to spend the money and have to use my used shields that are not perfect and then when looking at the bike you cant even tell I put a new header on it.
There are some folks that don't use the shields, if your choosing the ceramic coated and want to show off the crossover, leave them off. The ceramic header will not turn color and stay great looking.. Mine is 8000 miles strong and still looks new, under the shields... its been on two bikes now and would not run anything else.
