Back in the late 80's or early 90's you could possibly say you had an investment. Back then I sold each bike i had for more than what I paid for it new. Now days you have a depreciating asset.
An investment makes (earns ) money. A Harley ( and most any other vehicle) is a DEPRECIATING asset.
It is amazing just how many people really for real don't know this.
It's also amazing to see the amount of people that come here for "Advise", say "pull the trigger", wear fingerless gloves, "assless chaps", and say, "there bike" a lot.

Well I guess you could say it was a bad investment...lol... We did invest our money in bikes new and used but they will never make us money like a true investment would. Or at least a good investment...hahaha
I'll bet that cover waqs made up and at the printers before the 2014 bikes went on sale. there's a bit of a lead time in the printing of the mags. They just can't change it overnight either.
