Default Drying a seat
I forgot to cover my bike and there was a torrential downpour this afternoon. I usually coat the seams with beeswax but haven't in a while and the seat is saturated....wont be too good with the cold front coming in for the weekend.

I was wondering if I could get the seat dried out by putting it in a small room with a de-humidifier.

Do you think that would work?

It couldn't hurt. I dry my leather hunting boots and gloves that way.

dose anybody dry there seat? I do but only with a leave blower.

My seat gets wet every time I wash my bike or ride in rain. Just wipe it with a towel and let nature do the rest.

In a heavy downpour like today the Mustang seats get wet inside...the foam accumulates the moisture...not fun when you get on and it's cold!

Take it off the bike and lean it long ways against a wall and be amazed as you watch all the water run out of it.

2 hours later....Done.

This has happened to me a few times...I usually just fold up a towel and sit on that while i ride and let that soak up the water...Never had to do that more than once. :-)
