Question Tire Fitment??

It's time to replace a rear tire on a 08 Ultra, MU85B16 w/IDS on belt pulley. If memory is correct this is a 140/90/16 tire, correct or not. I've noticed few manufacturers offer a 140 and a 150/80/16 seems more prevalent. Will the 150 tire fit on my Ultra without any mods? All replies appreciated.

I'm not sure how that converts to the other sizing system, but I do have a suggestion. I went to a Dunlop Elite 3 on my 08. I highly recommend it unless you want a white wall.

I think it comes in a MU90 that will fit your bike.

The E3 lasts 2 to 3K longer than the stock tires, handles better and has better traction.

a few guys did fit an e3 160 ,so I'm thinking a 150 should fit(same size rating can differ from manufacturers) check the load ratings on whatever you get, will agree on the e3 mu90 great tire.i am now on metz me880 going back to e3 next tire.

Yes a 150/80 should fit. Take care to ensure you get a suitable load rating, as that size is also available for sporty bikes, with higher speed rating, soft rubber and less tread than a normal Harley tyre.
