I picked up this pig for next to nothing(traded a 91 Fatboy for it) and am starting the build over the winter. I am thinking of denim black for the color and powder coating EVERYTHING black and keeping the red wheels, old hotrod look.
Any other ideas?
Also, I am a little concerned about the stretched bags. I can see it very likely that while leaning the bike over, them scrapping the street. Is that a valid concern?

looks like you got a good deal.. There looks to be a lot of expensive goodies on it ! Everybody and their brother has black A flat/denim white would look diferent. you really have to be in a corner to scrape the bottoms. especially that it seem to be at stock ride height.
My roadking has stretched bags and is lowered with burly slammer kit.
My bags will drag pretty easy i have to take sharp turns at a snails pace. But out on the road its not bad at all.
Thanks for the nod on the color scheme! I think it should look cool and a little different. Now I just have to work on my patients, I hope to have it done in 6 weeks.
