Default SGS Adjusting Shocks

Trying to figure out how this works per the manual I backed off the adjusting **** as far as it would go I weigh about 210 it says 1 turn for 220 and 2 turns for 230 so I decided to try 2 turns its quite a harsh ride on bad pavement but I assume more turns will only stiffen the suspension not making the ride any cushier am I correct? How many turns are you guys running?

You are correct. I just put the 13" version on my RG and rode it this morning. 0 turns for my weight.

The chart based on weight is a good place to START.

But what I found was the lowest setting that doesn't bottom out gives the best, most controlled ride. That usually winds up being a turn or two less than the chart.

I've got a 2014 Limited but have the Premium Ride Low Suspension. Same rear shocks as the SGS. With the tour-pak on, no passenger, no load, 2 turns is perfect for my 190 lbs.

Actually I was cleaning the bike and playing with the shock while the bags were off, and noticed that as you turn it in you can actually watch the spring compress.
I am about 245 and run mine @ 1turn, nice ride for me.

I run 200lbs and set it at zero turns for best ride. Love these shocks over my stock shocks

I have had the premium low shocks on my 2009 Road King for 4 years now. I'm 200 pounds and ride with them set a zero. With the wife on and 2 clicks an go.

I just rode home. Zero as I weigh under 200 and ride solo no tour pack etc. The ride was nice. They could stand to be a touch softer but a great ride overall. Compared to stock shocks, night and day.
