Damn! Those new tips look pretty nice. They only offered the fluted insides when I got mine. Didn't really like the look. But, those ones actually look pretty custom.

How do you like the sound?

Love the deep throaty sound. Have a CFR on my Vrod for about 5 years now. Second to none on sound.

Pipes look great! Is it true what they say about the CFR's being hard to tune?

I have an auto tuner. Cobra FI2000. But I've read where ppl have had issues.

Supposedly, Cary cured this issue a while back by redesigning the baffle cores on the pipes. I think this was done in 2012 if not a little earlier. The problem people were having was due to the lack of back pressure from the wide open design on the first version. New pipes being sold today are supposed to be fine from what I understand. My bike is tuned with a Power Vision and runs great. The butt-dyno says it is dialed in and so does the ear-dyno. (haha)
