I would have the wife bring a new battery to get it home then put a battery tender on it all night to make sure it is fully charged. I picked up a battery from Batteries plus that was supposed to be charged and ready to go but when I put my tender on it took 4 hours to come up to 80% charged then another 5 to get a full charge.

You can always sell tickets and get enough money to buy and battery and tender. I would pay to watch that done in a gravel parking lot. I would think atleast 4th or 5th gear. Kind of reminds me of the last thing a Red Neck says. "Hey ya'll watch this"

Jump it off from a non running good battery to starter lead and a good ground.
Get rolling, Dude, quit your standing around doing nothing.
Ride!

Modern Harleys with low batterys are near imposable to push start. Starter went out on my RK and was able to push start pretty easy. Low battery on my rigid and never got it started (down hill about 15mph) til I put a new battery in it.

I saw a guy try to roll start his touring bike down the mountain once. All that happened was the belt broke. His battery was so low the fuel pump would not run. I tried to tell him "that wont work" he would not hear it, but he did get real mad. so I watched him try and then gave him the one finger wave and rode on by.

He would have to charge it then tender it. A tender can charge a dead battery but it will take forrevvvverrrrr. A tender is meant to keep it up, not revive it. Just my two cents.

Well what did the OP end up doing?
Had to push my Ultra up a small hill and while turning around over she went. Was pizzed as Hell, got her up and started going down hill in 2nd gear. Took her home got the truck and went to Batteries Plus for a new battery.
