Touring Detachable conversion
Have picked up a King tour pak for my '10 Street Glide, Tour pak has pre '09 detachable mount kit, Looking to put 09A '09-14 Two up detachable mount on Tour Pak(Trunk), do they make a conversion kit? The Trunk I have has the molded et up for older model not flat bottom. Thanks in advance..

you don't need a 'conversion' kit. just the proper mounts. the 2 up rack, and the 4 point docking kit. the bottom of the tourpak does not sit flat on the rack. there is a thick steel plate that goes across the 2 front mount bolts, and the rear bolts come down through the left/right 'channel', while the rack fits in between the two channels running from front to rear. if that makes any sense.....

Doing the same as Kevin, putting a King Tour Pak on a 2013 SG. I've ordered a 2 up detachable bracket, already have the 4 point mounting brackets installed. You mentioned a steel plate that goes across the 2 front bolts - is that part of the bracket, or a separate piece I need?
