stock bar with stock seat were great
stock bar with C&C seat were great
MBB with C&C doesn't feel so comfy
I never did MBB with stock seat
......Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't you try the stock seat first? It only takes a minute to change them.
No John...I wasn't really laughing when I posted my questions. One of my solutions was to put the stock seat back on....it was in my post...which is what I will do. I was fresh off of a ride and was venting and wondering if someone had a similar situation as me.
I live in Fayetteville, we can link up and you can sit on mine if you want. My 10" MBB are pulled back and I have the rider back rest on, it would give you an idea of how the bars and back rest would feel on your bike?
Bro, I appreciate the offer...I'm banking on the stock seat and back rest putting me back in my original position. I just really digged the solo seat look....seats are always hit and miss...ALWAYS. I love that C&C seat....but that backrest doesn't provide any support for me. But hey.....would love to meet you some day bro.
I have 12" Classic bagger apes and i installed them and sat on the bike for like a hour in the garage before deciding the bar location... I say rotate them back a bit...I can't live without the backrest co i couldn't do the C&C, i have a Sundowner.

I have the backrest......I will say that this is an awesome seat...the fit/finish is superb, I even like how firm the seat is. My butt has no problems with it at all. But for the life of me, I don't know why this is called a backrest. I do understand that our bodies are all different and we all sit differently on our bikes and want support in different areas of our back. But this backrest does nothing but keep me from sliding back on accelation. It does not come up high enough. I have it adjusted and the only part that touches my back is the top 1/2 of the backrest....unless I slide my butt all the way to the rear. Again...very nice seat. I will go back to stock (which I had no issue with) and see how things work. That stock back rest is so freaking tall that I can lay back and relax so we'll see. I may keep the C&C for local riding.....or I may sell it. I've only had it about 3 months.
Be careful pulling them back. I would like mine back a little further but I'm as far back as I can go without them hitting the chrome panel on the tank when turning.

Oh cool. No, I was 13 series for the first 14 yrs, then moved on to do some other stuff. There is a couple who lives in front of me named Mike and Tina. They both ride...He and Ultra and she a Deluxe with Heritage bags on it. I've seen her leave the last couple of Sat mornings riding solo...she has a vest with CVMA on the back. I haven't spoken to her recently..but maybe she rides with you guys. She's a short, lil bitty thing and rides the heck out of that Deluxe. I think its burgundish. I know she was an Army officer who got. Maybe you know her?

Just moved back for the forth and final time after I retired from JRTC at FT Polk as the 11c Mortar live fire OCT, worked with a bunch of 13 series in my team. We just had a CVMA chapter meeting but its a lot of new faces. I'm over off from Cedar Creek rd by exit 49 off of I95.
Small world, I'll bet we passed on Ardennes a thousand times. Or Long street as they do it now. Bragg 92-95,99-2005,2007-2010.
