Have you listened to the stock speakers? They sound much better than the older models to me. HD added the plastic covers on the back of the speakers. I had upgraded my 2013 with pioneers and an AMP. I'm not going to do squat to this 2014. It sounds great.
Already changed exhaust out to black RC's and added the cut black heat shields. I too would like to black out the front end and crash bar. Also want to add the polished front rotors.
Enjoy!
Edit to add: Thank you for your service both Military and Civilian side!
Honestly, I have even driven the bike, lol… Went to the dealer, purchased it, they stored it for the winter and now I can't wait till the riding season begins. At times I find myself, anxiously waiting, like a lil kid.. Well, I need to do a few things, like you are going to do, blackout the front end is a MUST, never thought about the crash bar idea, but that sounds good too. I may remove the crash bar and have it powder coated. In fact I want to powder coat a bunch of things, lol but patience is a virtue… Thanks to all for all the great wishes!
Looks like you bought it Chicago Harley. That's where I bought my 14' FLHXS...from Jerry. I love the denim black with red stripe...but .I like to wax and polish, but I did sit on the bike you bought!
Great deal on a great ride. I would have to bring it home, even if sat in the living room. I couldn't leave it at the dealer. It's going to be a long winter.
