I know a lot of you were following along with this, so I figured I'd give an update with a couple of pics. Shortly after the last posts, I managed to snap my fibula in two playing hockey so that put things on hold for a bit with the bike. I had Valentine's Day surgery to put in some hardware and a couple of months on crutches.
Meanwhile, work decided it was time to move me so I had to spend time getting ready for that. I was able to finish things up with the bike and ride out to the distillery before I left Kentucky. Only wish I had a better camera and some sun. It was an overcast day so you really don't get the full look of the Ember Red Sunglo...but here ya go. Project done.
I've already decided that next year will be a FM 107 or 117 kit, but it couldn't have turned out any better. Thanks for the guys at Powder Pro and everyone on the forum for advice along the way.
Wow! Ouch! Think you'll be able to tell the weather the rest of your life??
Overall, very distinctive look! Love the black! I think I'd of done the whole front red along with the rear lights, frame covers and detach mounts? But I'm not you and I'm sure it gets the looks! Nice job!
