How does it look on your 04 Ultra? Can you take some pictures and post them up if it is not too much trouble. I have heard that they look goofy because they are so large. One guy said it was like strapping a LazyBoy on the bike.

I would be interested to see and hear your thoughts on the size vs. the fitment of the bike.

You also mentioned the backrest is always on. I tried mine the other night for the first time and it was uncomfortable as hell. It put me right up on the fuel tank.

Thanks.

Mike.

I can't say anything about the RZ or the Hammock but I have the Mustang after trying a number of different seats and even then I took the cover off and carved it down ( I am 5'6 and 245 pounds) added memory foam now it's comfy and I can reach the ground. The one thing I want to add to your thought process. No matter what seat you end up with think about the Mustang back rest, it is thinner curved to fit your back and sits back a little I love mine also it is so easy to relocate your tourpak back and that will give you more room and your wife too so you will have room between you. I took a piece of 1/8" aluminum mounted it on the rack that holds the TP drilled a set of holes and within a few minutes i can move the TP forward or back about 1-2".

Great. Thanks for the info. I have been looking more and more at the Mustang Touring seat the past couple of days. Read many reviews from guys my size and had similar experiences/feelings of hard seat pan with the OEM seat.

The back of the seat sits high enough the back rest doesn't seam to push me forward ( unless the ol' lady is on the back) and I can in fact lean back, put my feet up on the pegs and "recline" on long trips. The adjustable bladders allow me to inflate and adjust enough to take some pressure off the jewels. When they are inflated (the seat bladders, not my jewels) it does raise you up but if your 6ft. + you shouldn't have a problem and deflated it's still a comfy seat. The wife doesn't seem to mess with hers much, maybe because when she's on board we stop about every 50-75 mi. so she can stretch. Hope this all helps, good luck.

Hammock seat! Most comfortable seat I've ever had.

Looks like it sits much lower than mine, nice.
