Ordered these for my dads flhxxx we bought the $199 complete kit with quick detach hardware on E-Bay, they came with blemished paint so I sent these pics to them I told her that it appears they wrapped them in the foam too soon before the paint cured. The nice gal said no problem we can send you another set that was good or give you a slight adjustment and keep those and try to buff them out. At first I said I didn't want to go thru the trouble, and on the second day she told me she opened a few sets and looked for a set and they all looked the same said she would call the Chinese and tell them of the problem she gave us a $40 credit. I buffed them the best I could do and there is still a few spots that I couldn't get out I am sure a pro could get it out but I think it will be fine so we got this set up for just $160 with quick detach hardware I say a good deal, the first pic is what I couldn't get off the second is the imprint from the foam which came out fine and for a good price, this is a stand up company
I think I'll grab a set of those, I've read their flat black is a near exact match to the black denim...... I only want them for long rides, other than that, I don't need an exact match as the road will most likely destroy them!

Did they install easily?
I wouldn't call it near exact, more like pretty close. My hardware will be here Monday and then I'll have to run to the hardware store and grab a couple nuts and some rubber washers. I should be able to post up some pics on Tuesday after I get 'em put on if you wanna see what the denim black ones look like.
As far as install it won't be hard if you have a service manual or a PDF of the blow up so you know where everything goes. But I did have to notch the right lower to go around the rear brake master cylinder. The Harley ones are notched as well, just not sure why the chines one aren't, but easy enough to do with the dremel.
