I have the standard version and started with a Fullsac 2-1-2 header and they were nice sounding, but not terribly loud.
So I'm guessing the mellow ones would be quite quiet.
Now that I've changed to true duals, my (non-mellow) Crushers sound MUCH better.
Kury's pic shown below for reference. There's very little from Kury that I like, these mufflers are pretty much about all for me:
I agree...I don't have anything Kury on my bike but I thought these sounded great and make good power I am told. The mellows are not real quiet. They seem to be as loud as my V&H Twin Slash.

Strange, I suppose one man's quiet is another man's loud. I always thought my Crushers sounded pretty tame, and again, they arent the mellow version, but you hear what you hear!
I was at the Kury booth at Rapid HD during Sturgis this year and I did a double take when one of the sales guys blipped the throttle on a demo bike with Crushers - I asked why mine didnt sound like that and the answer was "true duals", and sure enough, since I changed they sound great.
I've got the standard ones and kinda wish I had the mellows. I like the sound and the true duals really bring it out but after riding all day I could go for a little less noise. But I say buy!
I have Power Duals and Crusher Mellows and think it is perfect! I am very happy with their quality and sound
I have the power duals also so I'm looking forward to the crushers. Will have them Monday. I have never heard/seen them described as quiet. I even saw a post on another forum where the guy swapped the mellows out because they were so loud. Kind of made me nervous.
